You're So Very Creative

It's time once again for the link up. I'm sorry I haven't got around to the Friday Features and I will try to feature a few from last week through this week. I have had a horribly sad weekend. Lot's of crying and tears. Lot's of time to be around family and loved ones though. I told you the other day my blog may be off for a little while and I'm sure it will, and I'm sorry for that.

I told you guys about my dad back in August and how he was going through Chemo. I also told you the other night he had a bad fall and was without oxygen for a while. Well he had actually just come home from being in the ICU when he did. That day was horrible he was pretty much unconscious all day, he couldn't walk or talk and  they wouldn't let him go back to the hospital and we finally got him into a care facility and got him situated when we got a call early the next morning that they transported him back to the hospital because his oxygen was only at 50% on bi-pap and oxygen. His body has built up antibodies to his blood transfusions and his organs are shutting down. They gave him what will be his last transfusion yesterday.

My dad is my hero, a best friend I love him more than I could ever describe. It is so hard seeing this big strong man lying there so weak and in terrible pain and there is nothing you can do to ease it. As he is setting there suffering he is in there making us all laugh and lifting us up. Making sure to thank every Dr. or Nurse or Tech. that comes in to check on him or make him move even when it hurts him. That is how he has always been though he would give the shirt off his back!

I hope you will all understand me missing around here some....I do want to keep doing the Your So Very Creative I need something to do when I'm sitting here worrying at night when I'm at home and can't be there. I love seeing what you have created.

I'm sure everyone will understand that you have other priorities than your blog right now. Thinking of you wholeheartedly in this difficult time.

My heart breaks for you. :( There is nothing harder on a girl than losing her daddy. I've been there and I am so very sorry you are going through this. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless your daddy.

Heather,
I don't often post on your blog but I do read it constantly and appreciate all the creative things you share with us as well as all the links to others creativity. I want to let you know how sorry I am about your Dad. Tears filled my eyes as I read your post. I love the pic you posted, you resemble your Dad a lot! I will keep your family in my prayers during this most difficult time.
Hugs and blessings,
Donna

Just viewed your blog for the first time and joined.
Enjoyed my time there! :)
Blessings to you and your Dad. I know first hand how hard it is to be going through all of this with your Dad....I helped take care of my husbands father several years ago! (I was lucky enough to have two Dads in my life!)
In our prayers, NeeCee at pinecreekstyle.blogspot.com
