Blooming Headband (An Anthro Knock-Off)

Yes an Antrho Knock-Off!

Maybe this Blooming Headband will make it seem a little less FREEZING! It is so cold here and I'm sure it is much worse other places -2 is what it is showing here.

I came across this little headband at anthro...

Pretty cute I thought but it was $32 and I had everything on hand to make it myself.

Here is how I made it...

First off I crocheted four of these you only need two if you want it to look more like the anthro one.
Get the FREE pattern from my other blog So Chic Crochet Designs.

On a plastic headband add a small amount of hot glue to the end and attach the yarn you will be using.

Begin wrapping the yarn around the headband wrapping closely together so the headband doesn't show through on the top side.

Continue wrapping until the whole headband is covered glue the yarn down on the the end of the headband.

Glue small pieces of ribbon up over the ends of the headband.

Glue another small piece of ribbon around the ends of the other piece of ribbon making a nice finished end.

Glue your crocheted flowers on your headband.

Glue on glass pearl beads to the middle of your flowers and your done.

You have a Blooming headband! Now if it will just warm up!!!

Your Headband is so CUTE. I did the same thing and thought the same thing when I saw this pearl & purl headband at the Anthro Store. Would you mind if I refer/link to to this post on a project I have a Raverly - Thanks !

Love the headband. I'm making some for a friend who is expecting a baby girl and I'm heading to your other blog for the flower pattern. Thanks!
