Today we have the very talented blogger Kara from Mine for the Making sharing a fun Christmas project. So Welcome Kara!

Hey there Me Making Do readers! I am so excited to be here today to share a DIY holiday decoration with you all! Thanks so much for having me, Heather!
First, a little about me... My name is Kara and I am a wife to my best friend and a mommy to a sassy and sweet 3 year old. I am also the blogger behind Mine for the Making where I share crafts, tutorialsrecipes, home improvement projects, mommy adventures, printables, frugal decorating, organizational tips, and ideas for teaching. I also make lovely handmade jewelry and hair accessories to sell in my shop. I am a former teacher recently turned stay-at-home-mom and am totally loving it, but am constantly looking for ways to keep busy! Thank goodness for blogland and Pinterest, right? : ) Speaking of Pinterest, have you all noticed all of the different Scrabble inspired projects? It's a favorite game in our house and the husband and I have been know to play Words with Friends against one the same room. Not only is it fun to use Scrabble letter tiles to decorate with, but they are extremely frugal! You can find Scrabble games at almost any garage sale or thrift store. Let's get started on the project, shall we? White Christmas Scrabble Plaque
{Supplies} -small white wooden plaque (I bought mine at the dollar store and spray painted it white) -snowflake stickers or cut-outs (Got my stickers at JoAnn for $1) -small rhinestones -ribbon (I used burlap ribbon I got at a garage sale for 50 cents) -Scrabble letter tiles that spell out "White Christmas" -Hot glue and gun
{How to} 1. Glue your snowflake stickers or cut-outs to your white plaque sporadically, leaving room for your Scrabble letter message. 2. Glue on "White Christmas". 3. Glue on the rhinestones for a little more snowy bling. 4. Glue your ribbon to the back of the plaque.
5. Hang for all to enjoy or give as a gift!
Happy Holiday Crafting, friends!
