A Crafty Creative Christmas Guest Vanilla Bean Girls

Have you entered your Christmas projects to the Christmas linky here?

Today we have a talented guest who shares really fun and frugal projects over on her blog and she has a fun craft to share with us today. Welcome Ellie from Vanilla Bean Girls!

Hi everyone!  I'm Ellie from Vanilla Bean Girls!
Me and my two girls love to find crafty projects we can do on a budget (mostly to keep daddy happy) and we recently ran into a great Christmas craft for you to do with your kids!
We have a big chalkboard in our kitchen area that we like to use for class time when we home school, and we LOVE to dress it up for all of the holidays!
While at the craft store one day, we found some great foam shapes for Christmas!  A red stocking, a white snowflake, and a green tree!  What perfection for a Christmas bunting!  We also found some tiny red snowflake table scatter that we glued to the middle of the white snowflakes and glittered the trees and stockings before hot gluing them all to some tiny Christmas ribbon we also found in the dollar section!
Of course, the kids never get to handle the glue gun, but they love being helpers and laying everything in a pattern for me or handing me new glue sticks when I run out!
We also found these gigantic green clothes pins that we attached to the wall using some double sided mounting tape, and then used it to hold up our bunting ends!
Okay, so I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but we're loving the holiday season and decorating the house even if we DO get strange looks when people come over!
Happy Holidays everyone!  Hope you have a crafty and joyous celebration with all your loved ones!
Come on over to visit us Vanilla Bean Girls any ole' time!
