A Little Bit Healthier Sunshine Smoothie

I'm trying to get back on track. Last year I lost 30 pounds and now have gained a few of those lost pounds back. I'm still at a much healthier weight than I used to be but still too far away from a healthy weight and where I want to be. So I'm trying to make some things I love a little bit healthier.

I'm trying to make some simple changes that I feel I can stick to and wont feel like I'm cutting everything I love out. That's what seems to work best for me. I like my chocolate and sugar but could cut back quite a bit. Everything in moderation! Although there are days when I could sit back and eat a whole bag of Dove chocolates.(: Unfortunately I'm not one of those lucky few who can do it without it showing.

A couple of years ago I used to love to go and get a Sunshine Smoothie here and there from Sonic. Fortunately I don't have a Sonic right down the street from me any more where I am tempted to stop and grab one on the way home from picking up kids.

Although this morning I was thinking that a sonic smoothie sounded really good so I thought I would try to make a healthier version. It doesn't taste exactly like the Sonic ones did but it turned out pretty good so I thought I would share the recipe. I hope you like it!!!

If you like things a little less sweet you could use a little less of the Crystal Light. Let me know if you try it and like it. If you have any good smoothie recipes you have tried lately I would love it if you shared them in the comments.

Until next time....HAPPY DAY!!!!!
